Thanksgiving

We all know the story of the first Thanksgiving. As we all know, Thanksgiving has been a holiday celebrated all over the world for many, many years. We all should be thankful, no matter the circumstances! Think about it, even the poorest of people have something to be thankful for! Sometimes it can be hard to be thankful, no matter what, but you need to try to make it a priority. For example... several months ago, we hit a deer. It totaled our car, and we had to get someone to pick us up. The hood was all buggered up, and a couple of parts in the hood were messed up. It was pretty clear that we were going to have to get a new car. Everyone was a little upset. (Not all of us were upset just a little. My younger sister was crying. Probably from the shock. The impact was crazy, but no one was hurt.) No one was hurt, that is something to be thankful for. We were also getting a new car! We had, had that one for about 9 years. (It was a 2003, but we bought it used.) There is a great example of being thankful, no matter the situation. I'm bragging... I doubt that anyone was thinking, "Wow! I am so thankful that we hit that deer, even though our van is messed up, and we will have to pay a lot of money that we did not expect to have to pay this soon!"
