Testimony Time: Amanda Shiflett (Anderson)
I know Amanda from Redeemed Ministries. She is very beautiful and loving.
Amanda grew up in an amazing home. She had one sister, but when she was in the 6th grade, her parents got a divorce. Her family was very loving and loved God. They taught her about Jesus and were very family oriented. As she got older, she began to struggle with her identity. As she was growing up, she wasn't spoiled, but she never needed anything. They had their struggles, but overall, she had a great family. They were very close. They had fun times, but she didn't know who she was in Christ. She knew what others expected of her, and that's what she tried to become. She did not have much self confidence. She was even a model on "The Price Is Right", but she wasn't confident and didn't know who she was. Her mom was her role model, and she didn't see her need for Jesus. Today, Jesus has radically changed Amanda's life. She knows who she is, and she is bold, strong, loved, and worthy. She has "Godfidence", not confidence. God has blessed her financially, with travel, and in a little more than a week, a husband. He has brought people with the same passions as her into her life. Today, Amanda is a new person.
