What was the light in the beginning?

Before we dive in, please don't read anything in this post that isn't scripture as fact. It is just theory. Also, I'm sure you already knew this, but I didn't develop this theory, but I think that what it states is a good theory. For research, I used the Bible and icr.com
OK, let's dive in!
Isaiah 60:19 says, "The sun will no longer supply light for you by day, nor will the moon's brightness shine on you; the Lord will be your permanent source of light - the splendor of your God will shine."
Revelation 22:5 basically states the same thing. It says, "Night will be no more, and they will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will shine on them, and they will reign forever and ever."
Many old scholars believe that God was the light in the beginning. If you are like me, and most likely many others, you have thought that God created the sun, and it gave off great beams of light, and at night it "went away" until the next morning, just like now. Have you noticed something? God created LIGHT on the first day. He didn't create the sun, moon, and stars until the fourth day. So I guess the question that we are trying to answer is, what was the light in the beginning? God did not create light like he did everything else. God is light. Light does not automatically mean the sun. Genesis 1:3 simply talks about the presence of light, not the sun. 1 John 1:5 says, "God is light." God is the only true light, but was He the light at the beginning? We can't say for sure. There are other things that could have been the light. If God was the light at the beginning, He might have created one of His own characteristics at creation. Light is equal to electromagnetism, which basically is the "glue" of the universe. It hold everything together. That is most likely why God created it first. What would have happened if He had made light last? There is no telling, but it would have been a mess! We have been able to come to the conclusion that we really don't know what was the light at the beginning, but at least we have educated ourselves on what some possibilities are!
