Testimony Time: Lydia Marsh

I know Lydia from Redeemed Ministries. She sings on the praise team and has an amazing voice.

Lydia had a pretty normal childhood. There were a few small family issues but nothing major. She grew up in a Southern Baptist Church. She was very sheltered, which caused her to be judgmental. As she got older, she began to suffer from anxiety. She could barely even live with it. She also suffered from depression, self-esteem, and her size around the 7th grade. She was very aware of what her friends thought about her.

In February, her anxiety became unbearable. It was then that she realized she had to pray and stay in God's Word. She began to make decisions based on the Word. She started to do her best to keep God at the center of her relationships. She let go of some friends that weren't a good influence and she wasn't concerned about what others thought. Today, Lydia says,

"I don't know what I would do without my relationship with Christ. It's a friendship."
